Being prepared for your headshot session

I am fascinated as to why people often find being photographed scary. But it’s ok! Being photographed can initially feel a bit awkward – even for me.

I have discovered that there is this interesting phenomena when portraits are taken for entrepreneurial stories, compared to other photo sessions. Mind chatter tends to be noisier when it’s personal to us and addresses public eye. Not so much during a family portrait session.

When you work with me, you are conveying what you do, what you contribute and what you give to the world. This can be resonated and I believe that this is what makes a photo, photogenic.

So I help create a comfortable space in any environment for your to just BE.

How long will it take?

I have a set of packages to suit different needs, so this can be as short as a one hour session. The booking of time depends upon your requirements. Just let me know how many people and your ideal location. If you’re an entrepreneur you may need a photo shoot that gives you a variety of looks and locations. This will mean a longer shoot with more photos for your marketing. All your needs can be determined with a free consultation.

I’ve always been impressed by Sophie’s artistic talent. Like many others, I’m not comfortable in front of the camera but when offered the opportunity to update my profile images, I somewhat reluctantly stepped in front of Sophie’s lens. Sophie has the ability to make you relax, not feel too self-conscious and with her professional approach and skilled, photographic eye, created a series of lovely images I’ve used to update both my personal and work profiles.
